John Duggan was a son of Daniel Duggan of Rathfelane.
Elizabeth Galvan was a daughter of Patrick Galvan and Johanna Lynch of Bellmount.

John Duggan and Elizabeth Galvan married in the Catholic Parish of Kilmurry, Moviddy, Kilbonane & Cannavee on 7 January 1855.  The Witnesses were Patrick Galvan and Denis Duggan.
