Patrick was a son of Patrick and Julia. See below that on arrival in New York they used the surname O'Brien.
Catherine Hayes was a daughter of Bartholomew Hayes and Julia Keohane who had children baptised in Kilmacabea Parish (records only availavle there post 1832)
Patt Hourihane and Cath Hays married on 4 March 1851 in the Catholic Parish of Kilmacabea, West Cork. The marriage witnesses were Mary Sheahan and Catherine Sheahan.
