Patrick McCarthy, a labouer, of Lahana and Mary Calnan of Drinagh East married on 7 July 1928 in the Catholic Church in Drinagh, Co. Cork. The Marriage Witnesses were Jeremiah Hurley and Catherine Calnan.
Patrick McCarthy was a son of Patrick McCarthy and Ellen Hurley.
Mary Calnan was a daughter of William Calnan and Mary Hayes
Death:
Patrick McCarthy died at Lahanact on 25 December 1952. From his death record he was married, aged 60 years, a farm labourer. He died due to Cardiac Failure as recorded from by the Coroner following a post mortem on 26 December 1952.
