Patrick (Patsy) was a son of John Murphy, a labourer (as stated on marriage certs). It is most likely that this Patrick was a brother to Jeremiah Murphy of Inchinarihen. The second family in Inchinarihen was Daniel Murphy.
Patrick Murphy, a tradesman and resident in Inchingaerah, Bantry (at time of marriage) and Ellen Moynihan of Dromanallig, Iveleary married in Inchigeelagh, on 26 Mar 1878. The Witnesses were Michael Creedon and Patrick Moynihan. Note: the official spelling of 'Inchingaerah' is 'Inchingearagh' and this is the name of the small bridge on the West side of Kealkill Post Office. (See map below). Clearly Patrick lived close to the bridge.
