Michael Donovan of Green Hill, Bengour West, Enniskeane and Ellen Lyons of Liscubba, Rossmore married in the Catholic Church Kilmeen on 17 Feb 1920. The Witnesses were Daniel Donovan and Mary Kate Tobin.

Ellen, aged 50, died of asthma and cardiac weakness at Currycrowley, Ballineen on 27 Dec 1942 and her husband, Michael Donovan, was present at her death and the Informant to the Registrar.
Michael died at his residence in Currycrowley, Ballineen on 21 Oct 1953. Number 287 in the Superintendent Register's District of Dunmanway. He was a widower and the cause of death was heart failure due to bronchitis for nine months. His death was notified to the Registrar by his brother, Patrick on 5 Nov 1953.
