Benjamin O'Connor and Margaret Connolly married on 7 Mar 1848 in RC Parish of Enniskeane & Desertserges.  The Witnesses were Michael Connolly and Anne Hurley.

Margaret, a shopkeeper, died of certified heart disease at her residence in Bantry Square on 20 June 1898.  She was a widow and aged 67 years.  The informant of her death was her son, Benjamin.

Children of Benjamin & Margaret were:-

William (b. 21 Jun 1852 - Enniskeane).  Sponsor: Anne Connor

Annie born c. 1854 - shopkeeper, not married. Died 14 Apr 1899, age 45 yrs

Benjamin  born c. 1856 - bachelor, died 10 Sept 1918 aged 62 years

John Joseph  born c. 1860 - died 15 Dec 1902 in Dublin

Margaret (b. 27 Mar 1862 - Bantry).  Sponsor: Margaret Burke
