John Mangane (Mangan) and Margaret (Peg) Burke married before any available records and they may have other children born prior to the available records.

We do see examples in families especially in the Drimoleague Catholic Parish where the surname used may be either Brien or Mangane and some children are baptised Mangane and others Brien. In this family it is only Mangane is used.  From the Parish records the Mangane name has fizzled out before 1869.
