From the records at St Peter's Cemetery, Staten Island, Mary (aged 82) died on 14 February 1963 and was buried on February 18, 1963 in St. Peter's Cemetery. The grave is in Section E Range 2 Plot 2 Grave 1. Also from the records at that office the grave was purchased by Charles Prehn for the burial of daughter, Lillian Prehn, in 1931. They lived on Garrison Avenue in Staten Island at that time. The funeral arrangements for Mary were made by Christopher Prehn of 157 Garrison Avenue.

St. Peter's Cemetery is the oldest Catholic cemetery on Staten Island and it dates from 1848. The oldest sections of the cemetery reflect the mostly Irish Catholic community that once entirely comprised the Staten Island Catholic community. St. Peter's cemetery was once a part of St. Peter's Catholic Parish in Staten Island, which was the first Catholic church and parish on Staten and it originally catering to an Irish community of about 100 people.
Mary's brothers Daniel and Denis worked and died in New York as per their pages on this website. Daniel died in 1943 and Dennis in 1962. They are buried in Calvary Cemetery, NY.
